Ganderbal, June 02 (KNO): The district administration Ganderbal Thursday said that the annual Mela of Kheerbhawani will be observed with great religious fervour and enthusiasm. Talking to reporters at Ganderbal, the Deputy Commissioner of the district Shayambir said that some social media reports suggesting cancellation of Mela Kheerbhawani are totally baseless as the district administration has already erected tents and lighting arrangements are being put in place. “The annual Mela will be celebrated with great religious fervour on June 8," he said as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) He urged Kashmiri Pandits to participate in the annual festival in large numbers. Present on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar said that elaborate security arrangements are in place for smooth Kheerbhawani Mela on June 8.
